My baby is almost ONE!
Some new things about Eve? Well you know that kid that always gets sick the first day of school, when mom dropped them off at daycare, or any other time they were super upset? I HAVE that kid. She now gets so mad that she pukes and it always seems to be at night in her crib, so goodbye cry it out method! I hope this is just a stage, a messy one at that.
Eve is loving grilled cheese,avacados,bananas,cheese,tortillas,lasagna, Chick fil A chicken nuggets and pretty much anything she gets her hands on. Grilled cheese takes the cake though! As crazy as she is, she is a very neat eater and nothing is ever left or in her hair. {this could be because the dogs}
She is the life of the party, the chatterbox, the wild child but i would not have it any other way. Troy says she gets that from me and my non stop talking {we davidson girls like the sound of our own voice}. Her annunciation of words shocks me daily and i love her deep little voice, especially when she says the random i love you and her favorite word, momma.
She loves dogs, so much that she licks my face when i tell her to give me a kiss. It is hysterical because she looks me in the eye and grabs my face with her mouth wide open and licks me continuously! Her laugh is contagious and just melts my heart every time i hear it. She is sweet with other babies and loves little kids, so once we get settled in ft.benning we will have to find some mommy and me groups.
As for me, i am ready to finally get settled somewhere. I think the worst thing about being a mom is the constant worrying and anxiety that comes with it. I know even when my baby is 25, i will still feel this way. I am SO excited about Troy coming home but i am so sad to not have my parents around everyday anymore. We will all adjust though and in a few weeks it will feel like the new normal!
