Eve Charlotte is ONE

A YEAR? A YEAR? Seriously? How can this be?!

It has taken me awhile to post this because i really have no idea how to even sum up a year of my beautiful big little ladies life. I remember the day i went into labor like it was yesterday and cant believe how fast time is flying. Eve Charlotte you are our sunshine, mommies strength to make it without daddy for 8 months and both of our worlds. You bring so much joy to all of our lives and it just keeps getting better with age. Every day it seems like daddy and i look at each other and talk about how perfect you are and how we cant even imagine life without you. The most unplanned moment of my life turned into the most beautiful and important part of my life! I knew i always wanted to be a mommy, i love kids and loved the idea of being a mom. I just did not know much i would LOVE being Eves mom. She makes us relive our childhood and have huge belly laughs every day! She also challenges us and tests our patience on many occasions but always makes us turn in to better people because of it. Some new things about Eve?!

Well she is WALKING and by walking i mean RUNNING! She has been taking a few steps but i never officially counted it as walking until she primarily walked instead of doing her five steps then crawling. She waited for daddy to get home and showed off when he was not even looking. Eve decided to walk on a tuesday night {May 21st} while daddy was playing pick up ultimate frisbee at Kiwanis Municipal Park.

Eve also loves Cheeseburgers,PB&Js,Yogurt,Cupcakes,Grilled Cheese, and TRYING to eat nachos with daddy. For drinks she loves her apple juice and her bottle for morning nap and before bed time. I have not completely taken away the bottle because i have found no other way to get her to pass out yet. I do not think 8oz to sometimes 12oz of formula a day right now is that big of a problem but i will be cutting back soon. She loves drinking water out of a cup like a big girl and smiles after every sip.She has six teeth but with one cutting through on the bottom, so Seven if you want to count that.

Eve sleeps through the night and it is AMAZING! I could not wait for this day and told troy that i would not want to try for number 2 until i at least had Eve letting me get my nights rest. She sleeps from 830pm-7am and usually goes down for a nap at 11am for an hour and half then its go time for the rest of the day. I kind of miss her 3pm naps but those still happen if she walks around enough during the day or does something exciting.

Eves vocabulary is pretty common...the normal Momma {Mum because apparently she thinks shes english},dada, gaga, baba,Go,No{and shakes her head},yes{ which actually sounds more like yesh}, Yum or ummm. Sometimes she will just copy what i say and shock both troy and i but those do not count as she really has no idea what shes saying!
Eve is 31inches {94%} and 23ounces {88%} and developmentally ahead. We love our big healthy smart girl! Poor baby got two shots and is all into cuddling mommy!

Everyone keeps asking if i am pregnant because of my pins on pinterest and we are NOT. We just started trying this week, so hopefully god blesses us with another beautiful healthy baby but in the mean time we are enjoying our family of three!
