Fathers Day & Troys Birthday!

What a special DAY in the Davidson household. Our sweet T turned 31 and also celebrated his first fathers day! Saturday night we went out to dinner with my godmother who was in town for a conference. We met at the Taphouse Grill in Hampton,VA {which i highly recommend & have a GREAT beer selection} It was nice to see her and for her to be able to meet Eve and Troy. I think my favorite part was when she referred to Troy as a "cradle robber" because of our 6 year age difference. She was only kidding but still FUNNY. Eve was great and slept the whole way to the restaurant and through the entire meal. She did wake up at the end though and i could tell she was hungry, i fed her a bottle and not even 100ml was going to do it. So off eve and i go into the bathroom for a diaper change and feed. I use to not understand why places had a sofa chair but at this point in time i was WISHING they would of had a seating area for moms to feed. I wish this day in age they would make it easier for moms to breastfeed but i almost think it may be worse. 

So Eve and i , classy ladies we are, had to feed her while sitting on the toilet seat. Funny thing is of course the one time i forget to lock my bathroom door, we get walked in on during feeding. Think the girl was shocked because it was not what she expected. Also eve is VERY dramatic and while she is feeding she sounds like she is almost drowning in milk and when she comes up she gasps for air like i was putting HER in the toilet. Seriously, i was about ready to go home at this point or i thought someone was going to come in and call the cops! 

SUNDAY FUNDAY

Grams,Eve& I wanted troy to feel extra special and hope we did a good job. I decided to let him sleep in {this is huge with a newborn} he was SO grateful for that. So while dad slept we decided to take a walk and check out the new cupcake place walking distance from our house. The cupcakes were so so but i did love the red velvet one. I did say after the baby i was going to diet but i think i am more hungry NOW breastfeeding than i was all nine months pregnant. So i enjoyed myself at Williamsburg Cupcakes.

We did absolutely nothing all day, which in troys world, is perfect! He got tons of cards,phone calls and a gift basket from us. If you know troy you know he loves his IPA beers,Long Baths{he will kill me for saying this publicly}Reading SciFi,playing video games,wearing his red shorts and taking naps. So our gift basket included: Barnes&Noble gift card,Bath Pillow,Bubble Bath,Grilling sheets for fish and veggies to put on the grill, Corn handler for the grill,new towels,peanut m&ms and some small goodies!
